Wedding season is a great opportunity for us to visit all of our wonderful local venues. This September we headed to Newby Hall to provide delicate and feminine florals for the lovely Laura and Felix’s pretty, country wedding. Planned by Lucy Wright Weddings & Events.
Laura and Felix opted for super soft florals and a light, luminescent palette. Composed of ivory, lush green foliage with accents of nude and blush.
Laura’s bouquet was beautifully feminine, with nude Quicksand Roses and delicate ivory Astilbe. Berried eucalyptus and Astrantia added softness and extra romance.
The bridesmaids bouquets followed the same romantic and natural theme, while the flower girls held simple hand ties of pretty, white Hydrangea heads.
The couple were married in the stunning Church within the Newby Hall Estate. Large milk Churns flanked the entrance to the church, packed with an abundance of Hydrangeas, Stocks and Roses, in-keeping with the natural and country handwriting.
The reception took place on the main lawn within the picturesque grounds, with Will’s Marquees providing a beautiful backdrop for our florals.
Table arrangements were kept simple, with pretty groupings of bottles and votives of Roses, Eucalyptus and Wax flower, with more Astrantia and Astilbe for texture.
The team created a magnificent floral curtain of hanging stems, providing a show stopping and unusual focal point, that remained soft and delicate.
