Beautiful Sikh Wedding at Oulton Hall

October 25, 2017

On the 6th August Sandeep and Damian held their Wedding reception at Oulton Hall in Leeds. York Place Studios captured the essence of their day so wonderfully. These rich, opulent, vibrant tones of dark berry reds, claret and plum mixed with lighter shades of blush and ivory really popped against the gold accents used for the vases, and on the cake. This was such a beautiful scheme to work with and a real feast for the senses.

Sandeep’s bridal bouquet featured a mixture of all of our favourite flowers many of which were locally grown in Yorkshire. A real beauty in this bouquet was our favourite Margret merrill rose, which has the most delicate, fresh, romantic and utterly feminine scent. We also used David Austin roses from The Real Flower Company¬†, Astrantia, Astilbe, Dahlias, Lisianthus, Chocolate Cosmos, hot cerise pink Snap Dragon and an abundance of British foliage including Silver Birch and Bay.

The table centrepieces featured some of the same florals used in the bridal bouquet along with Jasmine Vine and Clematis Vine trailing down the tables to soften. The arrangments were placed in hammered gold bowls and vases. The contrast of the gold against these jewel tones really looked amazing! This deep and rich colour palette really made a statement in this beautiful room, and created such a perfect mood for the day.
